Bhubaneswar is a place with the combination of the old town and modern city, making it a wonderful place to visit. It is a part of Odisha with a diversified range of heritage resources. While making a plan for this trip I primarily focus on traveling to monuments.

Bhubaneswar is a place that takes us to the history directly to the 1st century B.C. There are so many stories which make the Indian proud to have a rich heritage.

How to Reach Bhubaneswar?

I booked my cheap air tickets from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar. It was an Indigo flight as a cost friendly from New Delhi to reach Bhubaneswar airport.  The flight was very comfortable and cheaper as I got to compare the prices on various sites. The comparison gave me the best deal that allowed me to save a lot of money on my flight tickets.

Where Did I Stay?

When I was booking a ticket for a flight, I also saw hotel booking option. Therefore, I opt for a pre-booking option where I get to check all the details of accommodation online. What I booked was exactly same when I got there. I booked an OYO rooms from a 4-star hotel. The hotel had all the comforts and facilities. I had to pay only at the time of check out.

Which Place To Visit?

As I was mainly focused on, visiting historical places I chose to visit Udaygiri, which is famous for caves. There are 14 caves in Hathigumpha and 10 caves in Ganeshagumpha, famous for its arts and historical significance. The list of caves in Udaygiri such as Rani Gumpha, Bajaghara, Chota hati, etc. making this place look adorable that can be visited every time.

This place highlights the inscriptions of that are Mancapuri cave inscription, inscription in Sarpagumpha, Haridas cave inscription, etc. After experiencing such an incredible place, I visited the famous temple of Bhubaneswar. The Chausath Jogini Mandir situated in Hirapur, outside the Bhubaneswar.

It is famous for a scientific experiment in building this temple thought by the Queen Hiradevi of Bramha during the 9th century. There are 56 idols made of black granite centered by the Goddess kali. This temple is primarily focused on the female figurine depicting the victory of feminine power over demon or evil power or mind.

How To Travel?

I like to travel on all kind of transports. I preferred to take local vehicles like a rickshaw, auto rickshaw, buses. These public transports are generally let me travel all the places at low cost and let me get the essence of the place. To choose public transport is the best cost friendly decision to make a budget for having a proper and safe accommodation during the trip. Moreover, the local people prefer speaking in Oriya, Bengali or Hindi, so there is not much problem speaking with them.

My decision to make a trip to Bhubaneswar had completely worth it. This trip was one of the most pleasant and was cost friendly too.
