The ticket booking process was very simple and was completed in just minutes.

I Stayed In a Lavish Star Hotel Hotel Silvete, Lucknow
My accommodation in Lucknow was in a lavish four-star hotel which had the latest guest facilities and comforts. My room was wonderful, spacious and inclusive of almost all modern day facilities. I made way to the hotel’s restaurant to enjoy a light dinner meal before retiring to my room for some rest.
After completing my auditing at the client’s office, I still had another day of stay in the city. I booked a cab to visit locations such as Bara Imambara, British residency, Lucknow Zoo, Constantia House etc. Out of the many places that I visited one that impressed me the most was Hazaratganj.
Visiting Hazaratganj and Janpath Is an Unforgettable Experience
My visit to Hazaratganj was fantastic as all around me I could see nothing my shops, markets and offices set into buildings that belonged to another era. This place has its history dating back to the time of the royalty. Even then it was a key area, inhabited chiefly by members of the royal family and their extensions.
It was the royalty who first conceived the idea of constructing a shopping complex in this location, where goods from China, Belgium, Japan could be sold. Today it is a bustling place where key commercial activities take place.
I wanted to buy some of the famous Lucknow Chikankari work material and found many a store supplying them at very affordable prices. As I have a passion for handicraft work, I could find items that suited my preferences in the emporiums and Gandhi Ashrams here. There were many eateries and restaurants in this place and I opted for well know joints to enjoy snacks, tiffin and beverages.
Out of the many markets in Lucknow, the most famous is Janpath Market and it is one that experiences a huge number of visitors every day. There is something here to satisfy everyone taste right from kids to people in their senior years. If you are looking for something specific like a metal figurines or perhaps chikari work that is intricate, you can be sure of finding it here, but at very affordable prices.
